Zoom/Resizing

Is there a way to Resize a Video [not picture] so the subject looks closer or  bigger [even if i lose a bit of clarity]?

Or some kind of Zoom effect [as my cam has a weak zoom ]

Zoom summary

We've got a zoom/pan tutorial at http://www.zs4.net/tutorial-zoom-pan. Although the tutorial uses a photograph, it applies to motion video as well.

In essence what you do after importing a video clip into your ZS4 project is:

  1. make the newly imported video the "current" (either by clicking on it in the project tree view, or by clicking on a track button of the video track in the arrangement view)
  2. Select the "current" tab in the bottom right pane.
  3. There's a black button with a yellow rectangle-outline with a tool tip "Select Destination Rectangle with Mouse". Click on it and Select the area of the video which you'd like to have enlarged.

as for me I resize video

as for me I resize video with Vidcrop PRO

You can also use the

You can also use the sliders that surround the video when you are in the track tab and rectangle tab. The slider to the right zooms.

New User Question

Where do I find more education materials for this program?
Will more beginner materials be produced?

I have been able to produce double video track results .. but I definitely  do NOT have a comfortable level of control over the program.
In particular cropping rectangle and final placement rectangle, in my words seems to be difficult to control.

Is the program being enriched in the near future?
