v0.956 No picture appears in Media Mixer.

    Hi, I'd be grateful for any advice.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program.  I've been trying to follow the tutorials but when I drag a file into the project tree or the track window, the new track appears there but the Media Mixer rectangle remains completely black.  I've tried changing the size of the Media Mixer window but no help.  I'm using the download videos suggested for the tutorials.  Thanks in advance for any help.

You can try this:

After importing your footage and drag it to the track tree select your footage go to the vars tab and make the "source opaquity" or "output opacity" 1 (maximum).
This is how it works on me. Maybe all the footage I have are faulty or it could be a bug, I am not sure.
  Hope it helps and maybe the devs could tell us more about this.

    It seems all of my files are faulty too.  This was very helpful although now I seem to have a bunch of other things to figure out like do I need a special codec for mpng and where can I get it?  But I can deal with this.  Thanks.

I have the same problem

Once i import my video i get the bumpy lines but i see no picture of my video like on the tutorials.Please Help!!!
