Imported AUDIO tracks sound stuttery and broken up?

Hi! I've just srarted using ZS4 for the first time. It seems that audio tracks lifted from CD (wma) when imported the sound is there but its very stuttery? I've converted the same files into wav and all i get is a buzzing noise?
The ZS4 program is also a bit unstable at times and freezes.
I wonder if my download was a bit faulty?
If not and im missing something apart from a few brain cells do i have to convert files into a more compatable form... my audio converter only does wav?

tutorial download trouble

When I saw examples of finished films I was blown away. I was very pleased to see some excellent tutorials (beginner 1 and 2) that made learning fun and easy. However, when I got to the third beginner tutorial (which is a swf file) I wasn't given a "green box" to right click, and when I tried "use this link", I was sent to a page that had no tutorials. When I tried using firefox to download, I was sent to the same page, but this time there was the top half of a message stating "Unable to connect" at the bottom of the page. Please, point me in the right direction to get these tutorials; I'm desperate to learn this great program!

I read the entire thread about installing this program with windows vista and still will not run. I tried running it as an xp emulation and to change it to run as administrator..... however there was one thing I didn't understand..... I didn't know how to right click in setup and set to run as administrator.... please help I am getting so frustrated!

If you type ZS4 in a search engine as I just did on a new system (because I could not remember this sites exact address) I ended up with two address's that seem to be this site but are not.....

Yes its been a long day...short version...zs4.info and zs4.com seem to be trading off the ZS4 name...or have I got it wrong??

Plenty of transition tutorial available

Hi,

After many hours playing with ZS4, and 2 personnal films realized,
I start being more comfortable with it.
As I also found that there's a lack of tutorial around the web,
I've decided to create my own so that'll be my small participation to the project.
The tutorial I've created only concern how to realize transition between two video sequences.
For the moment there are still not much, but more will come in the future,
as I have plenty of idea but not enough time to do it all at once.
I hope this will be usefull for someone.

Changing MIDI to a WAV file

Editing H.264/AVC lossless?

Hello,

we have bought a Aiptek AHD-200/A-HD720P Camcorder.
It stores the movie files on SD cards as 1280x720@30fps mov-files, coded with H.264/AVC.

VirtualDub can open the files but is unable to save the H.264 Stream from the Mov-Container. Avidemux2 has some troubles too, but basic keyframe cutting seems to be working with the version that has been released on the 23rd.
The Videoeditor Jahshaka seems to work great but unfortunaly it is slow with the HD video, even on a P4-3,4 GHz with 2,5 GB Ram

Is there a way to edit the video lossless, or even H.264 support planned for Zweistein?
Importing the mov-files did not work, and imported converted streamcopy-avi took long.

I could convert the video to another format prior to editing, but it takes for ever and reduces the quality (unless I convert it to uncompressed images which results in too large files to really store them).

Picture In Picture - Feature question - does ZS4 do it?

I have 4 mpeg files off my video camera.

Think of a security camera screen set up. Screens often show 4 video feeds at the same time in quarters.

In my case I want to show all 4 video files at the same time, in to 1 new mpeg file.

Perhaps I should explain the application...

I have a 15 minute documentary on air quality that talks about the impact that buses and trucks have on our air in our cities.

I want to create a new version that has the doco playing in the 'main video' section of the screen.

I then have 45 minutes (3 * 15 min clips) of local buses and trucks in my area.

It's
easy for our local polies to say that these problems aren't really
happening in our area. 15 mins of tape showing our own buses with black
smoke comming out of them is a bit harder to argue with.

Can I do this with this software?

If I can, then can someone point me in the right direction?

hi, am fairly computer literate so am perplexed why the program keeps stalling at 89% every time. i convert with the t@b media encoder first. then try opening files. but every time sticks at 89%.
have tried reinstalling. have tried other avi converters. am not using copywritten material.
am on vista though. amd dual processors and 2 gig ram.
am musician and trying to make my own music video from raw footage.
anybody know how to solve this problem?

i`d install it `cause i think i like the concept of this video editor - it could be a good tool for experimental things.

so far ...

when i want to open a video, i click on the video folder, which on my computer lives ;-) on c:\ ... by clicking the folder, the harddisk begins to run for minutes and there is "no chance to do anything" left on the computer, which isn`t that slow and that less ram and win xp.

the ONLY chance to stop that is strg-alt-del ... but the computer recognizes that after some time ...

that says: processor 100%, 1185mb ram for the prog, ... oooops?

and then ... the only way to really kill that ... is the reset - switch, as it is not possible to stop the programm "any normal way" ...

Beginner Stumped Importing Video

I have just installed ZS4 v.0.958. I am running Windows XP Pro. I'm stumped right at the start. I want to import and edit a DVD. It's a private DVD I had made from a video tape, so it's not copy-protected. Anyway, I have no clue how to bring it in to ZS4. I tried dragging and dropping it into the top window from an explorer window. That went nowhere: there was some disk activity for a few seconds, then nothing. The DVD has about 12 min. of video/audio.

How do I get started?
