Here is an example using 2 polygon inside effect containers.  These allow you to draw any polygon with the mouse in order to limit an effect or a video/image.  I am using them to fit 2 musician images into the piano reflection.  You can see the resulting video frame in the upper right rectangle labeled "MediaMixer"

To get this long nose effect i used the move point location effect (distortions folder).  On the current tab of this effect you can use the line drawing tool to indicate where to move a point in the frame.

First i imported my snail.png which had a snail on a transparent background.  Then i added a pattern slant effect as a child track of the MediaMixer (although the same effect would have been achieved by adding it to the snail.png track in this case).
