Install on Ubuntu

Inside the tar.gz there is an executable called t@b_zweistein_linux_ubuntu32_0703161351 and I don't know
what to do with it I'm afraid - given that it isn't a .bin or a .exe I mean.

Any ideas?

Also, I tried to download the latest linux file and I got  "page not found".

Cheers

same problem

Can't install the prog too.
Seems to be a kind of bullshit.
I guess, we have to ask Harry Potter for the trick.
I think, there“s a urgent need for the developers to do something about.

Still alive?

Same problem here in May 2009.
Is there anyone still alive managing this project?

same problem as the others

New Linux user here. Downloaded and attempted to install this software tonight and have been trying for 3 hours now This sort of problem is what puts people off converting to Linux.  Amazed that the developers haven't had the courtesy to reply when the topic was posted in 2007!!!!  Not impressed.

How to install on Ubuntu (Jaunty)

I had quite a few problems getting ZS4 to work on Ubuntu but I have found a way of successfully installing it.

1. Download ZS4 here: http://devel.zs4.org/t@b_zs4distro_linux_ubuntu32_0703161351.tar.gz
2. Extract the files from the .tar.gz file.
3. Run the zs4.sh script. If you get a window asking you what you want to do with the file, select "Run".
You should now see the program window appear.

By the way, normally Linux executables don't have extensions.
