System Requirements

On a computer with less than 512mb of ram and a 1ghz processor, the performance of ZS4 may be somewhat sluggish. A better processor is recommended.

Any information you can provide about ZS4 on YOUR computer would be helpful since we don't have the resources to test the software with many different machine configurations ourselves.

ZS4 on Mac OS X Tiger

Hi,

I just bought an iMac G5 with 1.5 GB memory. Zwei-Stein 4 runs much slower on the iMac than on my Dell PC with 512 MB of memory and a P4 3.06 GHZ processor. In fact, it's nearly impossible to use on the iMac, (a two minute video clip takes around five minutes to import).

Thanx for OSX report.

Sadly, there's nothing we can do about it right now.

We've bought (used) an G3 erlier this year and ported zs4 to it under OS X 10.1, the only version we got running with it was v0.938, then our MAC broke for good and we had to put OSX development on hold due to lack of hardware.

(You may have noticed that there's no v0.939 or v0.940 for OS X)

We have, in the mean time, developed *.mov input drivers using Quicktime for Windows. which would solve import speed issues, but we are unable to build this thing for OS X.
